Breaking News: Delhi University Colleges Face Bomb Threats, Sparking Immediate Emergency Response!
On Wednesday, Ramjas College, located in the North Campus, and Deshbandhu College in Kalkaji, both part of Delhi University, were targeted with bomb threat emails. This triggered an immediate and comprehensive emergency response.
Authorities were promptly notified by both institutions upon receiving the alarming messages.
In response, the Delhi Police mobilized bomb disposal squads, dog squads, and local police station teams. These units were swiftly deployed to the college campuses to conduct thorough inspections of the premises. Students and staff were promptly moved to secure locations as a precautionary measure, and access to the colleges was temporarily restricted while the situation was assessed.
The Threats: The threats, delivered via email, claimed, "with the collusion of Pak ISI cells who were provided safe haven in Coimbatore, this operation to blast 2 colleges in Delhi was planned for today. Please evacuate all students and staffs by Noon to be safe. I was part of the planning phase, but I want to become informer and get witness protection."
