Cejudo's appearance at RAF 6 comes just under three months after his last fight in the UFC, where he faced a tough decision loss against Payton Talbott. His retirement from mixed martial arts followed a challenging period, marked by four consecutive defeats since 2023, with the first three losses occurring against formidable fighters such as Aljamain Sterling, Merab Dvalishvili, and Song Yadong.
On the flip side, Urijah Faber has remained active in the grappling scene, showcasing his skills with victories over Jeff Glover and Bibiano Fernandes in 2024.
