Team Kuchar Breaks Records in Their Victory
What an incredible week it has been for Team Kuchar! They not only set a new scoring record of 33 under par, surpassing the previous record by five strokes, but also achieved a seven-shot victory margin—three shots larger than the prior record. An emotional moment unfolded as Matt Kuchar hit an eagle on the last hole, a stunning approach shot leading them down the 18th fairway to celebrate. Their final round was nothing short of spectacular, finishing with an astonishing score of 18 under 54.
Nelly Korda's Spectacular Eagle Finish
Nelly Korda showcased her talent with a brilliant approach shot on the 18th hole, converting it into an eagle that propelled her and her father, Petr, to an impressive total of 25 under par.
The Scoring Record at Stake
As the afternoon progresses, it appears that a new scoring record could be established. Team Kuchar currently sits at 28 under with just four holes remaining to play. Last year, both Team Langer and Team Woods matched the PNC record at 28 under. The question now is whether the Kuchars can reach the milestone of 30 under. With a solid five-shot lead and four holes left, they are in a strong position.
Team Harrington Shoots a Remarkable 59
Team Harrington made headlines as they recorded a stellar score of 59, marking the third team to finish in the 50s during this week’s championship, ending their day at 23 under. However, they find themselves trailing the Kuchars by four strokes, who still have five holes to navigate, including two par 5s that could offer scoring opportunities.
Kuchar Team Closing in on the Title
It appears that the title is nearly secure for Team Kuchar, who maintain a four-shot advantage with just six holes left to play. They have scored 11 under for the day and are sitting comfortably at 26 under overall.
Kuchar Team Starts Strong
In a repeat of their previous performance, Team Kuchar began the day with a fantastic 10 under through 10 holes, establishing a three-shot lead over Team Harrington. Matt and his son Cameron are clearly on the path to clinching the championship belts.
First Par for Team Kuchar
Team Kuchar has enjoyed an impressive start, reaching 8 under through eight holes before finally making their first par of the day on the par-3 eighth hole. They currently have a two-shot lead over Team Harrington, who is on the 14th hole.
Kuchars Add to Their Score
The Kuchars have been on fire, starting their round with an outstanding 7 under through six holes and leading by three shots.
Lee Trevino Makes Headlines

Nelly Korda's Sand Hole-Out
Don’t overlook the Kordas! Nelly made a spectacular hole-out from a sand trap, putting her and her father Petr just two shots back after his eagle on the par-5 third hole.
Birdies for Kuchar and Daly Teams
The final pairing has completed the first hole with both Team Kuchar and Team Daly sinking birdies. The Kuchars advance to 16 under, pulling ahead of Team Duval.
A Glimpse from the Driving Range
What was John Daly up to this morning? Likely enjoying a Diet Coke while having a good time with a dart.
